Completed for Wyoming Trout Unlimited in 2016 the East Muddy Creek Stream Restoration Project originated from a pre-existing fish barrier. With a slope on average of 3%, this 1,050-linear foot project required precise placement of boulders to create cross channel grade control all the while maintaining fish passage throughout the project. Re-alignment of the new channel was also necessary in several areas to up valley migrating channel geometry and lateral scour. A native riparian plan was also put into place to accommodate all native species of organisms.
