Located just outside of Two Harbors, MN on the north shore of Lake Superior, the Little Stewart Creek was negatively affected by the 2013 flood. Completed in 2015 and funded by Minnesota TU as a Design/Build project, the main goals and objectives were to deliver a project that realigned the aggraded stream bed to its natural profile and dimension along with maintaining fish passage and habitat for the native Steelhead. Onsite trees were utilized within the design and construction methods to assist with re-establishment of necessary biomass.
