Job description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate teams, manage resources, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications. Your expertise in construction management, site supervision, and technical skills will drive project success and client satisfaction. Must be able to operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators and dozers.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead daily meetings and assign tasks.
  • Oversee crew logistics, scheduling, safety protocols, and project construction.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Ensure all safety policies and regulations are followed (e.g., daily hazard assessments, toolbox talks).
  • Complete daily reports and electronic timekeeping (using HCSS/Heavy Job)
  • Interpret blueprints and survey stakes.
  • Knowledge of installing various concrete and piping structures (RCP, HDPE, etc.).
  • Communicate professionally with engineers, landowners, inspectors, and the corporate office.
  • Operate heavy construction equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in heavy civil construction projects such as pipelines or infrastructure development with a strong background in construction site supervision
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes
  • Hands-on experience with safety standards including OSHA regulations; ability to enforce safety policies effectively
  • Supervising experience leading teams on large-scale projects; excellent management skills with a focus on team coordination and problem-solving
  • Ability to read technical drawings accurately; experience with construction site experience is essential
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Proven experience in heavy equipment operation and upkeep
  • 3+ years Civil Foreman experience
  • 5+ years Heavy Equipment operation experience
  • 4+ years Pipelaying experience

Pay:

$35 – $40 per hour. Based on experience
