Job description:
North State Environmental is looking for an experienced civil construction project manager to coordinate and oversee projects, from initiation to execution to completion. They will ensure projects stay on budget and schedule. They will handle the preparation and review of project bids and the negotiation and management of subcontractor contracts among other duties. Must be familiar with site grading and pipe installation.
Essential Functions:
- Contract Review and execution
- Request bid Bonds
- Bid Package Preparation & Submittal
- COI Requests
- Prepare project Closure Documents
- Assisting Estimating Department as needed
- Populating Turnover sheet for each project and making sure it is in the project folder and ready when the project is ready.
- Prepare Project Information Books and creating set up documents
- Production reviews with the Estimator and Chief Operations Officer
- Help Populate and Track Design Build Projects Internally
- Create Proposal Packages
- Prepare and submit proposal package information
- Preparing MBE & WBE Solicitation Packages
- Upon award, actively contributes to project pre-planning
- Maintaining Professionalism with Co-workers & Clients
- Promotes Positive Work Environment
- Promotes & Encourages Company Growth
- Attendance & Punctuality
- Maintaining Company Confidentiality Agreement
- Understanding of site grading
- Understanding of pipe installation
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven Project Management experience
- 7+ years of site grading experience
- 7+ years of pipe installation experience
- 7+ years of Civil Construction experience
Pay:
From $105,000 – $130,000 annually (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- Full Time
- 10 Hour shift
- 50 hour work weeks
