Essential Functions

• Project Management from Estimating to Project Completion
• Downloads and catalogs bid documents.
• Attends pre-bid meetings. 
• Solicits and maintains communication with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Demonstrates resourcefulness and creativity to gain the best pricing.
• Reviewing and understanding bid scope and requirements thoroughly
• Reviewing plans, specifications, and soils reports
• Quality takeoffs utilizing Bluebeam.
• Completing bids utilizing HCSS & Heavy Bid software
• Production reviews with Chief Estimator and Chief Operations Officer
• Upon award actively contributes to project pre-planning
• Attends industry and customer marketing events.
• Project file setup & turnover file setup
• Creating submittal packages from specifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management/Estimating 
• Sufficient education to make appropriate arithmetic equations and complete written documentation; or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and characteristics.
• May require working out of town periodically.
